Thank-You Haters
This post is going to be short, but not-so sweet.
I relish haters. If someone takes the time to comment, react, or make a huge presentation about my thoughts or ideas, it means that I have had the desired effect of making someone feel something, anything, deeply enough that they feel the need to respond.
Sure, maybe I'm wrong sometimes, and maybe the haters are right, but that's really not the point. I'm writing a blog to inform people, because I was uninformed; to influence people, because I was influenced by others; and to instruct people in the best way I know how, the same way I instructed myself: researching the knowledge of people who know MUCH better than I do.
Most, if not all of the information I present in this blog has been researched, and tested (by myself, and others), and is NEVER meant to mislead. I present the information I have deemed beneficial to myself, because I cannot speak about what is beneficial to others. Hence why my blog is called "How I Became A Drag Queen". This is MY journey. These are MY steps. These are MY thoughts. YOUR journey will be SO MUCH DIFFERENT THAN MINE!!! This is why I always stress choice, and options, and all of the other ambiguities that make art an art.
But, remember, this is a blog. My opinions are in it because it is mine. If I happen to be wrong, GREAT!!! Please tell me. Comment. but show me support for your contradicting argument. Outside of drag, I'm a scientist. I research. I find evidence. Show me evidence, and I will gladly believe you. I will even change my posts to reflect these new changes, but until then: my opinions are my own. Take my advice if you wish, but always know: I do my best, but I am human. I am also new, nowhere near an expert, and do not wish to be taken as one.
Not once have I presumed to be the most knowledgable, or presumed to tell others what to do. I am simply presenting information with which readers may do as they please. Information that helped me to be who I am today as Rowena Whey, a biological male, who becomes a wannabe biological woman on a semi-weekly basis. We all have different journeys. This was mine.
Good Night.
